We'd like to welcome Jason Griffin from Beef + Lamb New Zealand (B+LNZ), who has recently been appointed to the NMACP Board, replacing Matt Ward.

Jason GriffinJason is the B+LNZ Extension Manager for the Western North Island region and has been in the role since 2015. Prior to this he worked at Ballance Agri-Nutrients for over 8 years, so he brings a wealth of agricultural knowledge and experience to the NMACP Board.

"I'm excited about this leadership role and adding value to the Board and the strategic direction of the programme," says Jason.

"Working with suitability qualified nutrient management advisers is going to be increasingly important for farmers as they ensure compliance with government regulations."

Jason has completed both the Massey Sustainable Nutrient Management and Advanced Sustainable Nutrient Management courses.

Another claim to fame is that Jason was the second person to be certified after the NMACP programme started in November 2013.

"We are looking forward to working with Jason, and would also like to thank Matt Ward for his sterling work and contribution during his time on the NMACP Board," said Vera Power, Chief Executive of the Fertiliser Association of New Zealand.
